Kopf History

Kopf & Kopf was founded in 1923 by Walter Kopf and his brothers. Specializing in land development and new construction, Kopf & Kopf was instrumental in creating many prestigious communities in Anderson Township (Watch Hill & Signal Hill), Amberly Village, Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout and Indian Hill. Larry Kopf, Walter’s son, expanded the family’s real estate interests in 1974 by creating W. Larry Kopf Company, specializing in appraisal and real estate brokerage.

Today, Larry continues as the firm’s broker and appraisal specialist and the company has changed names to Kopf Real Estate. Located in East Hyde Park, Kopf Real Estate focuses on residential real estate brokerage as well as small and medium sized commercial brokerage. Additionally, Kopf Real Estate offers general appraising services.

Larry is a certified General Appraiser in the State of Ohio and is the firm’s broker. Pinky Kopf, Larry’s wife, sells residential real estate and Pete Kopf, Larry’s son, will soon celebrate ten years in the business. Pete’s wife, Heather, has recently joined the team and is working in residential real estate sales. Although a family business, Kopf Real Estate is the home of seven other agents who are truly an extension of the Kopf family.
